Slip-On Flange — Overview
The slip-on flange slides over the pipe end and is fillet welded on the outside and inside. It is the quickest flange to fit, and it tolerates small cut-length differences on site.
It is widely used on lower-pressure water, air and utility lines where speed of assembly matters more than fatigue life.
Bore and hub dimensions are held to the standard so the flange seats squarely against the pipe before welding.

Where It Is Used
The three project types that order this item most often.
Oil & Gas
Upstream and midstream lines, wellhead hook-ups and pipeline tie-ins where pressure classes run high.
Water & Desalination
Desalination plants, pumping stations and water transmission lines, in carbon or stainless steel.
Power & Process
Power plants, refineries and chemical process piping where heat resistance and traceability matter.
