Threaded Flange — Overview
The threaded flange is screwed onto a threaded pipe end. No welding is needed, which makes it useful on small-bore utility lines and in areas where hot work is not allowed.
Threads are cut to the standard taper so the joint seals on the thread itself, with a sealant applied on site.
It is a practical choice for repair work and for low-pressure services where a weld would be awkward.

Where It Is Used
The three project types that order this item most often.
Oil & Gas
Upstream and midstream lines, wellhead hook-ups and pipeline tie-ins where pressure classes run high.
Water & Desalination
Desalination plants, pumping stations and water transmission lines, in carbon or stainless steel.
Power & Process
Power plants, refineries and chemical process piping where heat resistance and traceability matter.
